As things start moving along I am having the odd wobble about things I thought I had straight in my head:confused:
Hubby and I have 12 years experience in our chosen field but no formal qualifications to go with it. If we are offered the jobs we hope for which are in the same field as our experience can we claim point for this 12 years without having the qualifications?
I thought we could but now I'm not so sure....my head hurts!!:wah
HELP!!!

Yes, you can
That was exactly my position and I claimed the points for over 10 years experience and experience in a field of short supply.
I have no qualifications relating to my work and made no attempt to claim that I had.
I have what was validated as a degree level qual. but in a totally unrelated field from many many moons ago. I used this to support my level of education, but this was not linked in any way to the work experience questions.
Hope that makes sense.

Yes you can to back up Sams post - we did too. Again no qualifications, but hubby worked for the local council in the uk for 9 years before starting up his own business in the uk. The job offer was with the local council here and Kev clainmed the work experience for the time at the council and his self employment as the job offer was in the same field of work.
Good luck

Thanks for the quick reply peeps!
You both confirmed what I thought I knew before my brain had a wobble.
I suppose this is probably the first wobble of many!!
