I registered with the old ENZ Forum 15th February 2004, when we first starting looking into the possibilities of emigrating. It's been one hell of a long haul over the last year and I felt it quite significant that almost a year to the day since we began researching our move to NZ that today I finally got to hand deliver my completed ITA to New Zealand House in London.

So having been through the trials of life to get this far, that's it, there's nothing more I can do to effect or indeed affect the decision.

Just keeping them crossed :hopeso for the next couple of weeks.

Wow, Lil, I wondered if anyone had been hanging around for over a year (like me!) I submitted on Feb. 4, right before my birthday as it made me jump to another points category....like that did me a lot of good! I remember when they first pulled from the pool and it was 185 and how my heart sank. Then got picked on Sept. 1 with 100 points and no job offer. It's going on 6 more months now and I am still floating in cyberworld. I will get back to my house in Otaki one of these days!!

Congratulations Lil on delivering your ITA, quite an achievement eh!

Just thought I would post, as it has been over a year now since I started watching this forum, Jan 17 2004 rings a bell although I don't think I first registered until March.

Not only that, but yesterday was our babies first birthday. It was while I was in hospital after having him that Eric received the first e-mail inviting him to apply for the job he now has, so in a way this weekend is a bit of a landmark for us. Oh and it is Eric's birthday tomorrow!!

Lucky for us, as of tomorrow we have been here 6 months already!!

Its been a bit of a whirlwind of a year for us, but we made it and it can only get easier.
