Hello,
I wonder, how does the NZ immigration count the years of experience ?
I mean , if to claim points I need 2 years of exp. , while I worked 1 yrs and 10 months, can I still claim points for 2 years ?
Thanks !

I believe 2 years means just that - 2 full years. If you need those points can you not delay submitting your EOI for 2 months when you will be able to claim them for sure?

Thing is, I currently have another job offer in my country (in a different position), and I can't delay the reply or the starting date (should be in July , and that means I will lack 15 days to 2 years !!!) . But if it doesn't go well, I want to immigrate to NZ.

How frustrating for you. I don't know a magical solution. Only, if it were me, I think what I'd do would be to submit the form, with a note saying something like, 'By the time you are considering this, I will have completed 2 years' experience' - and wait and hope, with your fingers crossed.

Thanks. I'll cross it...
