I would like to buy some English cheese and air-freight it across (not massive amounts of course, but enough to make it economically viable).

Can anyone suggest how I go about getting whatever permits / approvals are necessary? Or do I just place an order and wait for it to arrive?

Has anyone done this here?

Mmmmm.... blue stilton, young and crumbly..... sharp tangy wensleydale.... stinky Wyfe of Bath..... salty lancashire.......

Thanks,
J

MMmmmmmm Cheeeeeese.

Not a clue, but I'm suddenly rather peckish and have a strange craving for a ploughmans lunch with really tangy pickled onions and crusty granary bread.

Devon Blue, Shropshire Blue, a genuinely mature strong flavoured crumbly cheddar, Lancashire and some Welsh Goats Cheese for me please.

Oh, and if you could get someone to nip across the channel and pick up a tonne or two of Bleu D'Auvergne that would be marvellous.

I like cheese me. :)

A google search threw up this..

I reckon MAF would be a good place to call too, as its these guys that would need to pass it to allow it into NZ in the first place...

Thanks!
The MAF forms always look so hard to read.... I find them quite off-putting!

Has anyone bought UK food mail order (successfully) in a non-commercial purchase?

Cheers!
J
