I had to formate my computer and am now trying to install Microsoft Office 2007 - but when I give the produce key given in my packaging with the CD - it says the key is incorrect. We have used this key before and its been fine - what am I doing wrong?:o
Can anyone please give me so help

The product key is case sensitive - make sure you are type in UPPER CASE where necessary.
Try that for starters.

Can i be rude and ask if this is a legitimate copy of Office? Microsoft can and do lock out pirated serial numbers. Also have you changed anything else on your PC?

The product key should work if it has done before. It is only at activation level the program would be blocked if it seems iffy.

If the key is a dodgy corporate key, then it's likely been locked-out since you last installed.

Thanks for all the help - it is legit - not sure what we were doing wrong - but got 18 yr old out of bed and he pushed some buttons and its taken it - thanks again for the help.

Microsoft do think of everything, issuing you with a teenager and all. All I got was a CD and a booklet.
