We have an 11 week old baby who doesn't have a passport.

Her identity part was the last bit of my Eoi I had to fill in - and with no passport number for her, I can't submit my application! Aarrggh.

Also, in the "P10. Please list all countries, including all countries of citizenship", I've filled in this part using the drop-down dates and received this note:

'To' date must be at least 12 months after the 'From' date.

But she's only 11 weeks old so this can't be right?!?!

>> Can any1 help us out or offer advice in how i progress my Eoi from here? It may be a silly question, but does our 11 week old need a passport??

We thought we were ready to submit but now this puts a real spanner in the works! Sooooo frustrating.

Any help appreciated. Thanks loads.

Neil,
I'm afraid the little one needs that passport for you to progress. As the little one is only 11 weeks old obviously she will not be on your or mums passport. Have just read some info from passport correspondence saying that a child under 16 can apply for one which will be valid for 5 years. Wife is under the impression that a child from 6 weeks requires there own passport and lasts for 12 months but don't quote us.
Best bet is phone your regional passport office or go to website www.passport.gov.uk tel no: 0870 521 0410

Hopes this helps

Hi Neil

There is a regional passport office in Durham city - should be more convenient for you than Liverpool??

Different problem. I have just completed one online and despite validating each page then pressing next, by the time I get to the end, the only points shown are for my husband having an identity :?

Am I doing something ridiculously stupid or could there be a problem with the website? I did send an e-mail to their website tech dept but it will probably take a week to come back.

Hi Neil

Wish you well for your trip to Durham. If you get chance worth looking round the city or at least a trip to the top of the cathedral - stunning view!
