If you want info about Permanent Residence straight from the horse's mouth ( NZIS) I can email anyone who requests it- the PDF document concerning anything you ever wanted to know about getting PR, keeping PR etc, from NZIS. It is called the Residency PDF and contains 500 pages plus of ALL details you would ever want to know ( and more) about the residency process and requirements.

I will try to find the link again on the NZIS website, and will post it if I can find it, but I am not sure how I even found it on the site. My husband shut down my computer and I lost the link :wah but fortunately had saved the document. Does anyone have the link to this document? I think it would be helpful for people who want the straight scoop on a number of questions concerning Permanent Residence that float around the forum.

Send me a PM or email coyotewildwomen (at) yahoo.com, if you want me to send you the whole PDF document for your review. :P

Here is the link to the document. If you want to know how many days you need to remain in NZ for two years to retain your PR, it can be found on Chapter 97-1, page 370 or so. Otherwise, you will find tons of information on the entire process from applying for PR to maintaining your PR in this tome of permanent residence knowledge.
