Today was about 13-14c and cloudy, and last two nights have been varied, at 3c and then 12c last night. So i would pack for same weather as a UK autumn.

Wont be needing shorts etc, jacket and jumpers a need i would say.

Don't pack any shorts, the days are changable, some wet some dry but cold at night so layers I would think would be the best, it will be a shock from the hot UK from what I've been hearing. I've noticed it's not been as cold as I thought during the day but if your in an exposed area of Wellington it could be nippy

Just bring warm clothes with you as the days are getting colder. During a sunny day it still can be nice outside but around 4.30 pm it is cooling down. As long as there are no southerly winds it is OK to me but that is personal and others are maybe freezing already.
Cheers and good luck with final preparations.

Hi
I would pack a bit of everything and when you really want to integrate a bit already: DO pack those shirts and shorts, because here in Blenheim the real kiwi's still wear them!

Good luck,
Anita
