Here in GB we have in the winter months approx 8 hrs of daylight. Between 8.am-4pm. :( :( :(

In the height of summer we can have approx 15 hrs between 5.30 am - 10pm ish. :cool :cool :cool

How do the daylight hours compare to being in NZ?? Same or not

Didn't do good at geography at school hence the probably simple question. :oops:

like in the UK it varies. Christchurch is similar to the south of England maybe overall an hour less daylight in summer and an hour more in winter. Auckland has less of an extreme not as much light in the summer and not as dark in the winter. The nearer the equator the less variation in summer and winter darkness.
