:o managed to damage my NZ Vodafone Sony Ericsson K310i after live in my back pocket all the time during days (To know that I got message quicker :D )

Rather buying new ones, I thought of using my UK Sony Ericsson K310i but still locked with UK's Tesco network.

Has anyone successful unlocked this type of phone with this Tesco network? do this phone work in NZ?
Where I can get this phone unlocked in chch?

I need my phone to sort out badly as it is only form of communication with my OH, my family (apart emails) and my son's kindy in case of allergy reaction occur at kindy....

Unsure sorry Sophia.

We use our UK phones over here but had them unblocked before we got here.
Never used the Tesco network sorry, was Orange in UK but use Vodafone SIM cards here.

Sophia, I don't know about your specific type of phone but OH went to a wee kiosk opposite Noel Leemings in Westfield Mall (riccarton) and got our phones unlocked. Think it cost about $40 to get it sorted :) OH works just along the road so could ask him to check with them if they could unlock to save you a trip in??

Hi Sophia we asked about having our SA phones unblocked at Auckland Airport - at Vodafone kiosk and we were given a tiny little piece of paper to go to a butchery - yes a butchery in the middle of Auckland - and lovely lady there told us it would cost us $20 plus purhcasing a vodafone starter pack. So ask when you get here at teh airports they seem to give you direction where to go.

Contact them as they do unlock on the Tesco network. I used them to unlock the Sony Ericsson W300i. They will either send a code or a data cable.

you need to get a cable on a Sony Ericsson. it won't unlock with a remote code like some nokias or you could call tesco customer services and pay them for their network unlock code as they subsidize the handset.
