Yep it's time I joined the working masses again and can't believe it but have got ideal part-time job locally that will fit around school :nice1 . Just need to sort out a wee bit of extra childcare for wee one and should be sorted. Off to meet future boss on Monday to sort out contract etc :yes

Feel really lucky to get something local, in similar field that seems to be child friendly too - hope there's not a catch ;)

Might have to celebrate with a few vinos tonight
Cheers

Thanks Paula still can't quite believe it.. Think will start in a couple of weeks time, really down to how easily I can organise the right childcare and a bit of training I might need to do :)

Lesley I can send you my CV if you'd like had OH's HR person look it over before started sending it around it's maybe not the greatest but I hadn't done one for wee while so needed all the help I could get :) Interview was actually very thorough and more indepth than some I've had in the UK - feel free to PM if you need more info. Are you thinking about working now?

Well that'll teach me to post before ink dry on contract :( I've had to turn the job down for a whole load of reasons but mainly lack of childcare and the fact that on-call would be too much with wee ones to think of - bit of a downer really but nevermind..

Never mind Karen - there's reasons for everything, even if we don't know what they are - yet.

Maybe something suiting you much better is just around the corner.

Hope so.

Sorry to hear that Karen!

My mum had a saying ' when one door closes, another always opens', and its true.

It wasnt meant to be but something better will hopefully be coming your way soon.

Fingers crossed for you!
