What do you pay for internet service? Is it unlimited access? I practically live on the internet so I really hope so. If not, how much do you use per month, and do you have to be careful how much time you spend online?

I'll be living in Auckland. Do the public libraries in NZ have free internet access?

thanks!

Our house has the same deal, I think - Telecom's Go Large Plan. Since the three of us are pretty much internet-addicted, the capless plan is a lifesaver.

Telecom doesn't offer it to new customers anymore though: http://www.telecom.co.nz/chm/0,8763,204548-202570,00.html. They had massive quality control problems and many complaints, because they actually were throttle all internet activity during peak times. I have to say, now that a bunch of customers have dropped it, it works great for us. :exit

Broadband here seems much slower than DSL or cable internet in the US though.
