Can anyone give me a good ball-park figure of how much it should cost to get carpets cleaning when we move out of our current rental. There are 4 bedrooms, short landing, open plan lounge/dining and stairs. We have had one quote from a recommended company that say $150 + GST, but I have no idea if that is a good price or not.

that doesnt sound too bad, we paid $120 for a similar size property, but that was 3 yrs ago!

We did it ourselves - we hired a Rug Doctor, complete with all the necessary cleaning fluid and it cost us approx. $60 all in. OH said it wasn't heavy and only took him about 2 hours to do 4 beds, lounge, family room and short corridor. Might be worth looking at.

We paid $110 for the both 3 bedroom rental house and our 3 bedroom house carpet cleaning, both was done on same day! :raebanana(That was last June btw). If anyone want the number of this man (chch/canterbury only), PM me ;)
