Long time since I've stared a thread :D
Need help in finding cheap flights from the UK to Wellington in November, returning December some time.
At the moment I'm getting from 1000GBP with Air NZ to 1700GBP with Singapore Air :(
It's for my Dad who's on a very tight budget, he really would like to travel with Singapore Air or via Singapore as he's done that route before. Definitely not Bangkok or LA.
Anyone got any ideas where to look :o

Have you looked here...
www.expedia.co.nz, though actually you need www.expedia.co.uk, or oh, hang on, there was one called cheaprflights.com or something like that which gave you an idea too...
thats who we booked through to go back in Sept.. once you find the cheapest airline there that goes the route you want, go to their site directly and see if its cheaper to book direct with them.

Have you tried www.flightnetwork.com Sometimes it seems to be cheaper than expedia.
Good luck!

My folks have just booked to come out with Malaysian airlines going via Kuala Lumpur, admittedly in Sept/Oct, but their tickets (including 2 nights hotel both directions in KL) is £862 each all inclusive.
Maybe its worth looking at other airlines and/or routes?
Just a suggestion...

Thanks guys, only checked yesterday with Singapore Air UK website and that's the price it came up with :uhoh I know they vary the price for dates but it's ridiculous it can be that different.
Just don't want Dad to be ripped off, he's having to go through a travel agent back home as he doesn't have a computer and we can't afford to book it here for him :(

my parents are coming out at the end of Nov and found travelmood (www.travelmood.com) to be cheaper for Singapore air than going direct to singapore airlines, - which has also been my experience.
don't forget with SA website, once each set of seats at that price for that date sells out, the price will jump. 1st Dec is the start of high season, so flights are especially busy around end of Nov by people trying to come as late as poss, but still get the cheaper lower season price. if you can be flexible, prices towards beginning of Nov should be a little cheaper..
this link may also help...

best of luck!

I always get the best longhaul prices from Trailfinders. They don't have prices on the website, but you can get the appropriate tel no fom the website.
