does term 'all family members' include MY brothers, MY parents etc??? when we did ita online found this a bit confusing - thot meant those applying to move with us - immediate fam - so we didn't include anyone else. reading in print we are confused again. do we have to list our birth family members? what if you dont have details for them??? can you just put a notation 'do not ever admit this person to nz under any circumstances' beside name and birthdate?

Leslie,
We found that confusing, too. We choose to list only my husband's kids from a previous marriage because if they want to change custody, they might end up living with us.

We did not list any siblings or parents. They will never choose to emigrate to NZ so it didn't seem like the bother of listing all their details was worth it.

I'm not sure if this is the best approach though?

Good luck.

Think you should list all your family, but if you only want to list the ones you like just give the nzis a call to check it out.

we added details of family, other than the 3 of us on the application form, when we sent the ITA to NZIS with the application fee.

Our case officer said that the online form was a bit confusing, and you can include details of other family members not included in the EOI separately. Think it's because you may wish to confirm later if anyone on the additional info list is to be sponsored by you.

We entered both sets of parents and both sets of siblings.

It was never mentioned that this was the right/wrong thing to do by our case officer and PR was subsequently issued with no hitches.

reading this thread it looks like the best thing to call NZIS. I've got 9 siblings, so i can see why I need to do it online.

I didn't actually know about 1 of them until a few weeks ago. None are dodgy geezers (i think) but anyone have any experience of not knowing where some of them actually are? What happens at that point? I've got relatives in Saudi Arabia, but that's as close as I know.
