If you are a qualified high voltage overhead or underground linesman (in the 400V - 33kV electricty contracting business), or line build/maintenance supervisior looking for a job in NZ then there are good opportunities in Northland.

Any one know the best place to advertise this specific type of role in the UK?
Have already looked at Justutilities.net and UtilityJobsearch.com, but hope to find some people who have started the process and are committed to moving.

Sadly my limit is 415v.
Always wish i had took different path at college and gone for HV, if the company fancies re-educating and training a humble sparkie (Ex UK Leccy Board) then i would be intrigued.

Alrite bump,

Probably your best bet would be to put in the sun daily paper. I know energx did that when they were recruiting for jointers and linesmen.

I'm a fully electricity board trained jointer. Jointing up to and including 11kv. There many jointer jobs around in NZ.
