dear good guys,
please share your experience...
if it said on Long term skill shortage list :"..... minimum 3 years experience in the industry" , does it means for fully 3 years in the comparable labour-market ??
because I need to make sure before submitting my EOI. My past experience for 3.5 years was not in comparable labour-market but I work for a multinational company right now (which I supposed to be a comparable labour-market)
does anyone ever have the same problem ???
thank you in advance, guys...

it would help if you would clarify...
what role you are interested in claiming experience for and what role you have experience in, otherwise it's a bit diffuclt to say whther they are comparable or not :)

Dear Susanty,
I would like to claim bonus point for work experience in an Area of Absolute Skills Shortages too. I would like to claim 15 points but I got formal letter from INZ that I do not meet the requirement. INZ said in the letter as below.
"If you do not have an offer of Skilled Employment and you are claiming Bonus points for a qualification or work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage (LTSSL) you will need to provide a full NZQA assessment of your qualification showing comparability with LTSSL. Please refer to the NZQA Assessment Sheet attached."
"If you do not provide a full NZQA assessment at the time that you lodge your application then the application will be returned to you without being assessed."
"If the full NZQA assessment does not show that you meet the specific NZQA requirements specified in the NZQA Assessment Sheet then your application may be declined."
I do not prepare for full NZQA assessment. My qualification was recognized qualification. I got ITA on Mar 12, 08 with 125 points without bonus point for work experience in an Area of Absolute Skills Shortages. I think that my case can help you for clearification.

dear Dusk and Man,
what I need to be confirm is : the bonus point (15 pts) for work experience in absolute skill shortage. I am a food technologist and already have full assessment from NZQA (recognized for level 9, master degree). but what an headache, that it is said on LTSSL the requirement for '.... min 3 years experience in the industry...".
I do work for a company based in the Netherland right now (up to 1.5 year), and I suppose it should be on comparable labour market. Also have 3.5 years experience in other food industries
please again your share, guys....
big big thank you
