Hi guys,

I just submitted my EOI with 205 points with a job offer. The statement on immigration says:

"If your Expression of Interest is selected, we will notify you and conduct some preliminary checks of the information you have provided to determine whether your claim is accurate. "

What are some of the preliminary checks will the immigration will be conducting? Will they inform me prior to making the checks?

good question, I believe it's just totting up your points to see if you are able to claim what you have said you are...

the proving it stage is the ITA when you need to send them your documentation.

totting??? SInce i have a job offer, will they be calling my employer to verify? Would they be calling anyone at all, including me or is this just their internal check?

What kind of other checks are they likely to conduct after I submit my ITA?
