This is so silly, but I hope you guys can help.

First time I took the bus, I didn't know where to put my money so I put a dollar coin into what I thought was the right slot - turned out it was where the ticket gets printed out. :(

So where do I put my $1.60? Do I hand it to the driver, because he didn't put his hand out or anything.

I know, it's rather funny, but it wasn't at the time!

I did get there; the driver made an exasperated sound, opened the machine so I could fish the coin out (which took some fumbling) and I handed the entire fare to him; he finally held his hand out.

I sat down without looking at anyone - thoroughly embarrassed.

Ha ha...your post made me chuckle...either give it to the driver....or put it in the silver dish thing in front of him...like a tray ( where you usually get your change)...and they will print ticket!

Link bus is great isn't it...we lived on there for a week!

ps-I'd have been tempted to slot it somewhere else on the drivers person if he was that unhelpful!

There wasn't a tray - I looked for one thinking the same thing; that it would be kinda like the kind you get your change from. But there wasn't one! :wah

And the Link bus doesn't come here; I'm a little outside the city for it. I'm talking about the regular buses.
