Hey Guys,

Firstly thanks to everyone who responded to my other thread.

Just touching upon a few threads that are popping up about the duration of EOI selection to successful. It seems as if there could be a delay of 3 months for people without job offers, but once 'successful' the ITA seems to be issued promptly after that (few days).

I suppose my question is - if people turn around the ITA quickly and return it, is the decision to grant PR fairly immediate?

Your thoughts are welcome!!

It will all depend on if your application is straightforward i.e. no further checks needed for medicals/ qualies etc.

They work through the document pack serially in specific order, so although our CO knew that my medical would need to go off to an MA for assessment, it was the last thing processed in the pile (the way the ask for the docs to be submitted).

The standard letter says 1 to 3 months, but if you look on this forum, some have been faster and some slower.

Short answer - no.
It is 'simple' in that they check everything you have claimed for in detail - IE - you must have written proof and documents. But, it will take a while before you get a case officer to do that. Guess - anything from 2 - 4 months w/out a job offer before they assign a CO.
Best to check the London site for updates on timescales and read through peoples signatures as these usually give a good idea of average times.

See my signature for timing.

This was skilled migrant category, with job offer, from US (ITA turnaround time shown includes post to and from London).
