for any fans of black books etc.. he's playing Auckland, Wellington and CHC

one of OH's favourite UK comedians, so he's very excited and has booked his tickets already. (don't all go, because we'll need a baby sitter volunteer for sep 3rd, probably our first social outing sans infant :D )

Woot, Mr Bailey.

He sat next (well, OK, quite close) to me in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh having a sandwich with his wife and kid about two years ago.

I was too star struck to say hello (and put off by the hoardes pointing and whispering "is that the bloke off that TV thingy with the weird hair?"). Plus he looked happy and content doing his family thing in amongst the madness of the Edinburgh festival.

Sadly I wasn't there for the festival, just worked in Edinburgh city centre and was between "oh my god it's broken, it's really important, the world has stopped, you gotta fix it now or get fired" phone calls

Never been to a Bailey show, may have to flex the plastic.

Ross Noble spends 6 months in the year in Oz, as he's married to a skippy. He tours there every year.

I'm gutted. I love BB, and we've seen him a couple of times before, but he started playing stadium gigs here like a flippin' rockstar and I won't go to them, so haven't seen him for a while. So now he's in NZ the month before we get there :(

Maybe I'm being a bit thick but have just used the link you posted Carol (thank you btw) and it says general sale is May 26th. How have you guys managed to buy tickets?

I love Bill - we saw him in London a couple of years ago, and he's so funny!!!
