Our passports arrived at my work today with lovely blue stickers in them.

I'm amused by how detailed they are. Both say "funds waived. Outward passage waived." And my husband's says he can work in any occupation for any employer in any location.

And they also say I can work up to 20 hours a week, but honestly I don't know whether they think I'm superwoman or what. Work while in vet school??? I don't think so.

Congratulations....That is great Liz...We are still waiting for my husband's approval for PR...Maybe sometime soon the Embassy in Washington DC will surprise us.

Good luck with the Vet program...When do you start?

I guess they're just covering all eventualities. A lot of students DO do a bit of paid work, so this could be a catch-all, rather than thinking, 'Hmm, somebody in that faculty will/won't have time/energy.'

I worked through my undergrad, working full-time at times. But I just can't seem to think that I'll be able to work while in Vet school.

Thanks everyone. I'm at the point of having massive butterflies. I dropped my cat off at my friend's house (who will be watching him until it's his turn to go to NZ) and we've finished our garage sales.

We leave Ohio on Saturday, then drive to Las Vegas, spend a month there, and then fly to NZ!

If I had any fingernails left I'd be biting them!
