Hello,

I have injuries from a car accident in the UK that I need physio for...

My question is: Has anyone had an existing injury from an accident in the UK and been able to get treatment through ACC?

Going to be v expensive paying private!

OH is getting NZ chiropractor treatment for shoulder cracked when falling off Mt Snowdon when she was 13...

The chiropractor said although it was an existing condition, it was agravated by OH lifting boxes during the move - which sounded like a fine excuse for us.

I have physio frequently, as I have a metal rod through my leg - which was put in after a skiing accident when I was 18. I've never had to pay under ACC for any treatment for which this is the root cause, as the injury was sustained in an accident.
If you call the physio you're intending to use I'm sure they'll tell you whether your injury would qualify or not.

Ouch but impressive too as not many folks survive falling off Mountains :p

How did you enjoy your trip up to the big smoke?
