At this point do you list all work history or just the roles that are relevant to the skills being claimed for smc?

just the relevant stuff and only as much as you need to qualify for the poitns you claimed :)

so when you have to provide the full kipper at ITA stage, do people "pad" out their history or be super anal and get refs/proof etc for everything even if some jobs since i was 18 lasted a couple of months?

if you can help it, don't include anything you can't prove - you will need proof at ITA stage - this can be contract/job offer letters, payslips, references - that sort of thing. as I say if you don't need the job to count towards the number of years experience you want to claim on the EOI don't list it
