Some of you know that I work for a not-for-profit organisation working with people with an intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder. Anyway we are currently on a bit of a recruitment drive for support workers and caregivers in and around the Waikato area (Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Huntly to name but a few).
While the advert below is for home support and buddy support roles we are also looking for caregivers who can provide respite and/or shared care (maybe 1 or 2 days per week) and/or full contract board. Not entirely sure what the rates of pay are but I think for buddy/home support it starts at about $13.50 an hour. Caregivers providing respite care is paid daily (per 24 hour period) and is paid on a case by case basis. Purely by way of indication, this is usually in the region of $50 - 70 per day, however this is not set in stone. If you know anyone who may be interested please either contact me on the number below (during work hours) or PM me.
P.S. I have checked with Douglas (forum admin) who has given me the go ahead to post this.
