I only have the basic 3gb contract with Telecomm and I am wanting to listen to the radio station from South Africa every afternoon - how much is this going to take up of my 3G - bearing in mind I spend hours and hours on the forum!!!!:D

We listen to UK radio most days and although I don't understand on the techie stuff that goes with it I do know we use very little of our download allowance to do it. Only know this cos OH told me we could easily reduce to 3GB per month :D

I haven't been able to shake my Chris Moyles habit so tend to listen to him (BBC Radio 1 breakfast show most nights or weekends) I get a good 18 hours of UK radio stream a week and it barely dints my 5-10GB (which I increase depending on what TV I want to download.
If I was you I'd try it for a week without and a week with and see what the jump is - good luck.

I regularly listened to Internet on the radio in the UK, and continue to do so now in Auckland. Only strange now listening to morning programs in the evening and vice versa.
Sport's a strange one on the radio, live cricket with tms is broadcast, but the footy and most other sport seems to be blocked out.
Agree with others, it doesn't take it much useage, same with Skype too.
