Hi all,

Not sure where to put this post, but I thought it might help as regards UK friends and family keeping in touch with you, or if you are in UK to get in touch with NZ from your mobile...

I'm back in UK and have bought a "Lebara (http://www.lebara-mobile.co.uk/en/)" sim card to use while I'm here. I had never heard of them before, but apparently they sort of something to do with Vodafone.

I know there are cheaper ways to keep in touch with NZ from the UK, such as Skype etc, but for the convenience of calling NZ from a mobile, Lebara seems like pretty good value to me.

I bought it from Phones 4 U, it was £19.95 and came with £20 airtime already loaded. I pay 4p per minute for calls to NZ landline, and 13p per minute for calls to a NZ mobile. I can text anywhere in the world for 10p.
Calls to UK mobiles and landlines are 15p per minute each from the UK.

I have only been using it since Sunday but so far so good! :) :)
