Hi, Does anyone know if the message on the NZIS website ever changes from application recieved to AIP or PR granted?

Were waiting (impatiently as ever) for our passports to come back.

Stop being impatient!! ;) I haven't even had the interview yet, trying to think of excuses to write or phone my case officer as a "prompt". Any ideas gratefully received!!

Let us know when you get the passports back - sure it will be before ours, as I only sent them last night, so they got them this morning!

Checked this morning and we have moved to 'Application Received'. I call that pretty good service: my documents were still with me at about 3pm on Thursday afternoon West-Coast US time, and by 9.29am Monday (London time, too, I think) they were delivered to NZ House 5500+ miles away. Hours (a day at most) later our status changed.

We paid for that quick service, as you know -- and we're not made of money (well, three of my fingernails and an ankle are formed from dimes, but that's about all between the three of us) -- but an awful lot of valuable documents were in that packet.
