(To update the previous question, I still don't know where to put my coins as I haven't ridden a bus since the disastrous last attempt!)

I need to take a couple buses to an audition on Saturday. I've never been along any of the route the buses will take.

How will I know when it's my stop to get off? I couldn't see a sign on the bus notifying passengers of where we were.

Just tell the driver where you are going and ask them to give you a shout when its time to get off. (sit near the front)

Check out the route beforehand so you can find the nearest side road/landmark to ask for.

Yup, getting the driver to 'give us a shout' has worked for me on the rare occasions I find myself bussing it.

That company does run one of the routes. And here's something funny - that website says to give your money to the bus driver! So that answers that first post I made... :D

Thanks for the site. I am currently using maxx.co.nz, but if another site makes it easier, I'm all for it.
