I know its not healthy to check the website every day but actually it has been interesting and confusing.
I submitted my ITA on 14 May. On the 'What's Happening' page, there is a section below the Applications information which is entitled Health Certificate Details (which details the status of most recent medical submitted).
Now this is the weird thing. When I submitted all my ITA paperwork, the 'lodgement date' showed as 14 May but the Health Cert Details showed 'date received' as 15 May. Then last week it changed to 27 May and today it now shows 4 June.
Has anybody else noticed their dates on the Health Cert Details changing?

I can remember reading about this before so I guess it is 'normal'.
The fact that something is happening should be a positive thing eh? :yes

Mine too! It changed from medical certificate received 23.5.08 to 30.5.08.
I can't work out why either.

Maybe they've looked at and dealt with/passed the medical certificate and the new date is the date it was ok'd?
Here's hoping!

Okay I think I've posted about this before or maybe it was in a PM?? However, in our case the medical certificate lodged changed to full medical with different date and we got PR approval about a week later - so good news me thinks :D

Karen that was to me when I queried this. :yes
Our ITA was lodged on 12th March and medicals received 18th March. The medicals then changed to received on 15th April. This was the date the medical panel got them I believe. We got the medical queries on about 14th May and are still waiting the outcome.

Cappucino, I submitted my ITA same day as you, 14th May. Our medical now says 'date received 22 May'. Our case officier has already told us our medical file has been passed to the assessor for 'comment'. Here's hoping some of us hear very soon; OH has to give his notice in this week, but we're very reluctant to, before knowing if it's a definite or not....badly need that crystal ball again!
Mels, can't believe you're still waiting, poor you.

oooh this sounds really positive. Thanks for your replies. I'll let you know if/when anything else happens but if I keep my fingers and toes crossed for much longer, I'm gonna cut off my blood supply!

OK I've read through the thread and searched the forum and I'm a bit confused now, my status says "Full Medical" and a date, does anyone know if that means all is probably OK from at least the medical point of view?
Thanks

Yup I'm in a similar situation hence the anxiety over site status. Good luck with your ITA.

I think, from our experience, that means the medical has been approved :yes
As I say above we got approval in principle about a week after this change to medical status :)

:)Thanks Karen that's useful to know.
It's ironic isn't it that the rollercoaster ride of the process can actually raise one's blood pressure with all the anticipation.:)

Ours says medical received and a date that hasn't changed, but I know they've gone 'for comment' - (whatever that means!) We still don't have anything under 'date lodged' - any ideas why???? my fingers are down to the knuckles!!!!! :wah

it means they have been sent to the medical assessor as the case officer cannot 'pass' your details due to something or other- the MA will decide if any more information is requiired etc - I wouldn't rely ont he website being updated accurately - just have to wait - hopefully it's nothing too serious - I take it you know why it's been passed on for comment - an existing condition etc?

Hi, In my case the page first said X-Ray received and then it said full medical received.
I guess any update is good, which means its being looked at :)

Our experience was same as Peebles16.. medical status changed to 'Full Medical' and then within a week PR was approved.

Thanks for the info everyone, I feel much less confused now.:)
I've just been asked to send in some further info with regard to my job offer so I guess it will be more than a week for me but will post an update when I hear something.
Cheers

Hmm interesting,
website now says, Full medical: new date, status received... if only it had some sort of feedback that meant something.
Back to waiting.

Well I found out two days ago that our PR has been approved in principle:)
Have been a bit busy to update though. So it seems yes, once it says full medical received that it is very likely that the medical is fine.

Ours says full medical received, but I have had to submit additional info for the MA which has only just been sent in. The full medical received showed a few weeks ago. It may be that it means that the Principal Applicant's medical is OK, as my OH is principal and he hasn't had to provide any additional documents.

 Ok.....I'm really, really confused!! ITA officially lodged 24th July, the Health Certificate Section says......
Certificate Type Date Received Status
Full Medical 25 Jul 2008 Received
As far as I know, it's always said that!? We passed our medicals so does it just mean that there are no issues? That they'll not need more info?

:uhoh Ok I think the website full medical received status may be a red herring and I have been guilty of reading too much into it.
My theory, and it is only a theory, is that the date simply means that the medical has been looked at by someone. If there is no contact from a CO within a few days it is likely that the medical is fine.
Of course you may already have a good idea on whether the medical may be referred based on the results and examining doctor's comment.
Sorry if I have caused anyone any further confusion and good luck to those of you still waiting to hear.
Cheers

There still seems to be confusion on the Full Medical received status- our status just changed to this also and I'm wondering (hoping) that it means we passed our physicals...but we haven't even been assigned a CO yet. I've gone through all of the threads on this and I'm still confused! Just looking for any positive sign!
It is inspiring to look at old posts of people who have struggled through this process and have finally made it!

Hi Folks,
Just noticed that my Status (ITA submitted to INZ Beijing) now have "Application Received" & "Date Lodged 22 Sep 2008". Kindly advise what to expect next and for how long before I hear from NZIS officer. Thanks...
