Hi Folks,
I understand anywhere in New Zealand is a wonderful place. However, should our application be successfull, me and my wife are considering either Auckland or Wellington because of my profession in IT.
Can you please share to us the advantages/disadvantages of each place in terms of family lifestyle, weather, cost of living, community, employment opportunities, etc..?
Your kind advise would be highly appreciated.
Thank you very much. :)

Hi,
It is hard to compare and say what would be better. It depends a lot on your expectations and your wishes in life and lifestyle, I guess!
Just come over and have a look for yourself - that's the best thing you can do. When we moved over here we were aiming for Christchurch, but never came further south than Wellington at that time. It was too attractive to travel further. But we are not a family and we like the culture and entertainment in Wellington a lot. Saying that, I live in Blenheim now (very different from Wellington) and like it here as well, but for other reasons.
Good luck with your preparations,
Anita
