Last night we got aaaaall our ITA documents together, in order and ready to send. Then we noticed that all birth certificates need to have both parents names on 'em :uhoh
You can get certificates from the www.gro.gov.uk website, and they can send it in 2 weeks for £10, or 2 days for £26.
Sorry ... but £26, for first-class post?

Ah this emigration lark does sometimes seem like a license to print money but worth it in the end though :)
Best of luck with the ITA

Somehow I managed to lose mine - duh. But as I live close to where I was born I was able to get one 'while I waited' for £7 from the registrars office. Would that be an option or are you too far away now.

I have just ordered one online direct through my local council (also the one where I was born!) it cost £7 for a full one and it came in post two days later - I was well impressed :clap

Hi,
Re Birth Certs:

Many thanks,
