Hi all,

We should have our ITA on Mon/Tues and would like to get ahead over the weekend.

What sort of documents will be required? I'm guessing at Birth / Marriage Certs, Registration (work), Diploma etc. Are photocopies accepted or originals?

Many Thanks

Tim

Hi,

You will get a letter from your CO itemising everything you need to prove. Basically everything has to be an original or certified copy. If you send originals you also need to send copies. They will then keep the copies and return the originals.
Once you get the letter things will be a bit clearer.

good luck

what mels said.
at the ITA stage you will need to provide your medical examination results, police certificates, full birth certificates, qualifications, any relationship advice/info about children if appropriate and copies of (signed) contracts if you have a job offer - plus anything else they ask for, but that's generally about it :)

'certified copies' are where you take the original document + photocopy to a solicitor etc and give them a small amount of money to sign something saying they have seen the original document, otherwise as mels said, you send the original + a photocopy of the document...
