Hi Folks,
I am reading the APPLICATION for RESIDENCE IN NEW ZEALAND and have some questions regarding below declaration stated in the form.
=====================================
Section G: DECLARATION
I have read and understood the information provided by INZ regarding the cost of living in New Zealand, found in the booklet, “New Start. New Opportunities. New Zealand”, supplied with the “Self-Assessment Guide for Residence in New Zealand” (NZIS 1003). I have sufficient personal
resources to maintain myself and my dependants for at least my first 24 months as a resident in New Zealand. (This does not apply to applicants under the Refugee Family Support Category, applicants under the Family Category or whose sponsor has been recognised as a refugee, or applicants under the Partnership policy or Dependent Child policies.)
The personal resources I will use are: (tick at least one)
_My cash and assets
_A verified definite offer of employment in New Zealand (evidence attached)
_Support from family members in New Zealand, verified by attaching the “Sponsorship Form for R esidence in New Zealand” (NZIS 1024), completed by a family member.
=====================================
My questions are:
If "My cash and assets" is to be used as personal resources,
1) How do we declare it?
2) Are we required to submit evidence of cash and assets when ITA is submitted?
3) If required, which type of evidences can be provided and acceptable to NZIS?
4) For a couple, what is the minimum amount of cash that may be considered as sufficient personal resource in the First 24 months of stay?
Kindly advise.
Thanks...:)
