Hoping someone can help me - Having real trouble with the paperwork for this!! After a failed attempt to come over as a dependant child on my fathers application I'm having to do my own application and I'm doing it with my partner that i have been with for over a year (She is a NZ citizen - Born here). I am in New Zealand (on a visitors visa) and have got my police Cert and medical and have all the correct paperwork (I think!!!) Just filled in the paperwork and couldnt find anywhere on it to prove our relationship! Has anyone else gone down this path that can help. Do they ask for it at a later date? Anyone else had any stumbling blocks on the way to filling in this paper work?
Any information on this would be greatly appriciated

It's been over a year since we filled out the form so can't recall if you need to put details onto it - but you do need to include partnership evidence at time of application.
Do a search on here for partnership application to get an idea, but we had a covering letter about our relationship and an index of the documents we included. These were
- joint rental agreement
- seperate bank accounts going to same address
- joint membership cards
- letter from document stating how long he knew us as a couple
- photos together
- a couple of joint holiday itineraries
- a couple of old emails from when I was on hols in NZ six years earlier to my OH who was still in UK.

what sort of timeframes am i looking at for this to be complete from start to finish, bearing in mind that I have police Cert and full medical all clear and heaps of evidence (Photos, Joint bank accounts, Letters from friends/Family, Mail to the same address etc)

We submitted in person on Feb 6, 2007 and got confirmation on June 24 2007 -- but we were actually pretty slow as OH needed a medical waiver which took three months of to-ing and fro-ing
Others have got it within six weeks - depends on clean health and crime details, plus enough evidence.
Also depends on how many other cases they need to see. I think their "yearly quota" of acceptances ends in August... there was some date where applications seemed to take a bit longer, but ours was early in the year so actually went quite quick all things considered.
