Hello, we are looking into a LTBV and need to research suitable businesses for sale. I saw in a previous post that trademe.co.nz is a good place to start. I have had one problem though; I can't seem to contact any of the sellers without being registered on trademe and I can't register if I live outside of NZ or Australia. Any ideas how to get around this? Also any other good sites for business searches? Many thanks!

I gave my friend's address in NZ to enable me to register.

Yes, no other way around it, really. Do you know anyone who would let you use their address? It is only checked if you want to be 'address verified', the email address you give has to be working to enable you to activate the account.
What sort of business are you looking for? It might be possible to track them down directly.
