Well that day we thought would never come has eventualy arrived and we are in the midst of organised chaos. We chose Pickfords as our shipping firm as we've used them numerous times in the UK before and always been impressed with them.

So after all the car boots and the house sales we have managed to clear virtually everything we set out to. The only big things we are keeping is our beds.

We lose our internet tonight so wont be online for a while. I look forward to meeting with you all on 28th in Christchurch and putting my roots down in New Zealand.

Funny you should mention that Mels, our packers once had to unload the whole lorry in the street because someone had packed thier passports!! Not us, OH far too organised for that. Now where did we put Amy? Amy??? :D

I just wanted to say a warm thank you to everyone on this forum for being so supportive. I'm a bit emotional right now, it's the final goodbye to the house I've lived the longest in and leaving behind dear ones.

We finish packing tonight and then leave at lunch time tomorrow. It's going to be so odd knowing we aren't connected to anywhere legally any more. My heart tells me where home is now, and I'll be there on Wednesday.

Thank you to you all, I can't wait to meet with new friends on 28th and see where we end up in NZ.
