Hello people,
I wonder if anyone can help me please - have done searches, but can't find an answer to my query. We submitted our completed ITA last week (it was signed for on 6th June) and we received a letter confirming that they had received it and were in the queueing system to be allocated a case officer on 7th June. Letter also stated that our youngest who was 10 at point of medical, and 11 at point of submission, would require a chest x-ray. (completed yesterday, assured by radiologist that it would be sent first class today to NZ House). Website "what's happening" shows decision 'pending' on residence visa application, but has no lodgement date. Health Certificate details section shows 'full medical' date received 7th June. When does status change to 'lodged'? I thought this was after they received it, but clearly not. Do you think this may change once they receive my daughter's x-ray report? Only asking, as I'm driving colleagues up the wall with my incessant checking of website and my constant chatter regarding being 'lodged' or not. Any info would be VERY gratefully received.
Big thanks.

Hi
We are in the same boat, we have just got the letter today after submitting all the paperwork on the 10th June, where do I find the bit about medicals?

Very rough guide from memory, which was only a few months ago, but have had a lot to sort since then (you'll find out).;)
Not very much changes on the website now. Once there was a lodgement date (when we sent it), it said decision pending for ages.

You will most likely have an email from a case officer or other contact 1st. Our info on NZIS changed after we had our blue stickers back and we knew what was happening anyway. THe medical said received and then changed the date to when we had contact from an officer.
Hope this helps.

Hi

There are some documents which are essential for the ITA to receive 'lodged' status (or in other words, to be accepted). I am quite certain that once they receive the chest x-ray the website will be updated. It is also true, though, that a 'pending' status can last forever (it certainly feels that way). Our ITA was lodged on the 25th of Feb 08 and we are still 'pending' (while living and working in Wellington, so it could be worse!).

Thanks a lot guys, I feel better now, will wait for Monday and see if I'm updated when they receive the x-ray report....onwards and upwards!
