and it wasn't half as bad as I thought.
Subject to our blood coming back ok we should be ok:nice1
For anyone in the Southampton area would really recommend the doctor in Southampton (Walnut Tree Surgery). The Dr was very approachable and great with the kids, he talked them through all what he was doing and had them helping out where they could! It wasn't rushed and we even talked about spots he had visited in New Zealand.
I was a bit worried about the waist measurement but his tape measure was on my side:laugh
16 year olds medical is next week as he had GCSE exam today so then we should be fit to send the paperwork off - hooray!

Kerry,
We had our medical with the same doctor at Walnut in Southampton in January. He as you say was excellent. We came back with our xrays and then did the medicals. My daughter was nervous about it but he put her mind at rest.
We used to live in Hedge end and now have been living in Auckland for all of a month. It was a bit stressful waiting for medical results but such a relief when all came back ok for all of us. We have a daughter of 16 and son of 14. My son has settled really well in school and my daughter comes out next month after finishin her exams.
Anyway good luck with your move.
Regards,
Lisa and Paul

Would you mind telling what the costs were? I'm collecting info for medical centres in all directions but within travelling distance from us.

It was £1,000 for 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 children but we paid by cash and got a 10% discount. I can't remember what the breakdown was but will ask hubbie later.

I went to the same doctor too!! It was all very easy and all went smoothly. Mine was £250 plus xray costs.
