To be honest, despite it is said "suitable for family with ezcema, allergies and asthma", did anyone really had skin problems with Ecostore's products?

We use the clothes washing liquid, aloe vera shampoo, washing up liquid and antibac spray stuff....and for me personally it has been great for my skin. They also list all of the ingredients (which isn't a requirement in NZ yet :() so if you do have a reaction, you have a chance of working out what it is. But I guess it depends on each persons individual skin.

I also noticed that Woolworths has started to have to odd Ecover product in stock. We used to use the Ecover washing liquid in UK as I was always a bit allergic to Persil Sensitive stuff.

My son's allergy consultant advised we test him with it first and proceed with caution as some of these 'eco' products can have coconut oil and or soya oil in them and whilst not truly a nut they are the type of things he can be sensitive to. The consultant didn't however have a recommendation of a suitable alternative just said it would be trial and error!!

They definitely use coconut based oil in a couple of their products.

He has his epi-pen for peanuts but has had reactions to pecans as well but it was difficult to say if it was an allergy to a different nut or some random trace of peanut. The consultant recommended no nuts at all and limit his exposure to soy products (as they are a high allergy legume like peanuts).

Thanks debbie for get back on this. As our daughter not yet show any reactions to peanuts & tree nuts, but her skin prick show very highly reactions to it  so we were told continue to not give her any peanuts and tree nuts.
Our house have been strict peanuts/nuts free since birth of our first child because of strong family history in my OH's side and all of them been tested first before they allow to exposure to trace of peanuts, that how her allergy came to light. She did had soya intolerance as baby but thought she outgrew soya however at same time, her ezcema got worse and been battle since, no-one mentioned about link between soya and peanuts....will do try and error on this soya diet to see if any help.
