Hi All,

I received my WTR Visa in January and since end of February I'm living in Beachlands, Auckland with my family. I got my Skilled Migrant EOI selected the fist week of June and just today the Immigration web page changed my status to ITA.

My question is regarding the papers I will need to provide, because I already provided medical, police, birth certificates, etc when applied to the WTR in January 2008. I will need to pass thru all this again?

Helping get some information about this...

Regards,

Technically the medicals last for 3 months and the police certificate for 6 months, so you are meant to be able to re-use them if they are still valid.

So, you and your family would definitely need to take a new medical as it is well beyond the 3 months - they ask for new medicals for PR anyway.

For the police certificate, I'm guessing that this will have also expired by the time you can submit your ITA so you would need new ones of these as well.

So, yes you will need to go through all this again, this is why we recommend that you go straight for PR if possible.
