And I thought "yeah..they must be live in Auckland which is understandable" but it was shock to see they from INVERCARGILL..... Helen, do you think you will buy one for your house????

No, no plans to. We'd rather double glaze tbh and have had quotes for that - we like our coal stove/wetback and fireplace although, so as not to get through as much wood, we may eventually install a woodburner in the fireplace... and it wouldn't really fit well in this place unless it had whacky radiators
Your woodburner does a great job, I had to open the doors to cool down as I'm not used to it!! :o

.. although, as you know (I think Woz and Gary talked about it?) we have a small rad that runs off the wetback which we're thinking of replacing with a larger, more effective one... hence my searching TradeMe for radiators - so if anyone spots a single radiator for sale please let me know! :nice1

Hmm, looks like a bit of a hotch-potch of a system, I wonder how effective it was? The radiator in picture 2 is woefully small given the size of that window, and the cast-iron jobbie in picture 3 looks like it has come out of my (1960's) Cornish primary school and been retrofitted with micro-bore pipe!:laugh

Blimey worlds smallest radiators? Although i would say at $1000 its still well worth fixing up...
