Hi all,
Looking at flights now for second week in July and they are all busy/expensive. Air NZ horrendous on availability and price. Anyone flown Eva Air and stopped to rest for a night in Taipei? We're travelling with 2 children (well...11 and 14 yr old). Any feed back greatly appreciated. (Food/state of aircraft/entertainment).
Thanks

Hi Debbie,
Did you phone Air NZ or look on their web site.
I phoned and got much cheaper flights. Presumably they just don't show all seats on web pages. They are also very helpful.

Zardell flew with Eva air (I think, may stand corrected on this Jules????)
Air NZ are horrendously expensive. Compared to Singapore Air, they were 5k dearer!! And that was a so called offer!
Singapore are very good, and we are flying with them again next week.
Probably best to pm Julie (Zardell) but I think she said they were fine.

We also flew EVA but went their version of business class, (we it was about 500GBP total more than the cheapest cattle class we found). We are a family of 2 adults 2 children (2&4 when we came over). The extra cost was worth the extra luggage allowance and the EVA were fab. Heathrow check-in for them was terrible but it was during another terrorist clamp down. We did the night flight direct so no stop over just a plane change. There was a limited number of TV programs suitable for my very young kids but to be honest the staff were so attentive that when the children were awake they didn't really need it. Air crew kept fresh fruit and food aside and feed my kids when they were hungry.

Thanks Debbie, that's really helpful. Might check out their business class fares.
