Originally we thought OH's job offer was going to be just outside Auckland airport. We spent ages looking a areas to live within a 30/40 minute commute. Finally we'd decided on Green Bay down as far as Laingholm.

The job offer documents have finally arrived, but the job is going to be based at another of the companies sites. Although only 10 minutes away in Wiri, I think we need to reassess where we are going to live. Looks like we are now having to think about the East instead of West. Our search starts all over again :(. Any suggestions of nice areas near to Wiri? Without being in the troublesome locations.

Is that Wiri as in very close to Manukau? If so, Howick, Bucklands Beach, Cockle Bay, Botany (if you like modern) are all within 30-40 mins drive of a morning. Plenty of info on here about those areas if you use the search facility on the top. Happy to offer more info on BB/Howick if useful.
