The relocations company has just booked the flights for us and we will be spending December 13th-14th shopping in LA:raebanana

Can anyone recommend a nice big mall with the usual shops like TJMaxx, Gap, Banana Republic?

Howabout outdoors shops that would stock Arcteryx, Patagonia, Prana etc? I know the Patagonia shop in Santa Monica, but what about the other brands?

We are staying at an airport hotel and will rent a car but it would be great not to have to drive too far...
