Hi,
How's life in Rangiora. We had a look there when we were in Christchurch. We picked up some shells from the local beach and fetched them back home... Looks like a lovely place to live. How's the winter weather now. We left CHC the day it snowed luckily...:)
Cheers

Rangiora is a great place, nice town, plenty to do and in reach of Christchurch just about :) Compared to winters back in Scotland this is an absolute breeze - cold in the mornings and evening but when the sun is up it's fabulous :yes
Where are you thinking about settling?

Hi again...
We've got two places in mind...Chc and Invercargill.
Aorund Christchurch we really liked Rangiora but was attracted to Cashmere and Sumner. We currently live on the penine hills so we would feel more at home living on the side of a hill:D The housing is pretty expensive there though. We're going to rent and rent till we find the place that suites...
Invercargill is pretty much a bigger version of Rangiora but probably not as busy. It is abit isolated at the bottom of the planet but hey that can be attractive too. But both are flat as a pancake :)
We're split on it... me and the misses.
So untill a firm job offer comes along....watch this space:exit.
cheers
Bob
