:) Dear all;

im in the stage to submitting mt ITA but i got stuck at the evidance of the qualification and work experience meet criteria for absolute skill shortage.

actually i hade bachelore degree in computer engineer not listed in regonised qualification list and i got NZQA report which mentined that my qualifiaction been assessed as level 7 and i have 5 years experience as system engineer(IT field).

so is it enough to send my qualification,transcript,work experience letter(mentioned its full time ,start and end date and my job roles or responsibility) as evidance of that my qualification and work experience meet criteria for absolute skill shortage or i need to send more?

please advice and thanks for your time:raebanana:raebanana:raebanana

Hi, that would do it!! I don't have an IT degree yet, I am in the IT feild and I have 10 years of experince as programmer and now as Project manager which is listed as absolute skills shortage.

So, yes your experience would count and what u mentioned you are sending would suffice!

The best advice is to send as much as you can get to back up your claim. I sent a basic reference from each work (headed paper, as you cannot just say it yourself) stating start and end dates, job role, description and that it was full time. I also sent payslips for different dates and P60 showing employment.
This may have been more than was needed, but you get it all back.

raedf...just to qualify this work experience issue - You don't say where you have gained this experience but it has to be in what NZIS regards as a 'comparable market'.
Now this is obviously a quite woolly statement, perhaps purposefully so.
This link - http://www.emigratenz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18484&highlight=comparable+work+experience - contains the relevant information and describes the issue another forumite had with this.

The level 7 assessment on your degree sounds good for 50 points though.
Good luck with the ITA :nice1

Yup..thats right..totally forgot about that..I got my experience and my degree in the US so it did count even if I didn't an IT degree.
