Does anyone know what happens when you gained a qualification prior to the date in brackets next to the University name on the approved qualifications area? I got my first degree in 1988 but the date next to the University of Hertfordshire is 1992.

No need to worry about that .. either the authorities will accept the qualification or at the max they can ask for NZQA evaluation and yeah for that you have to pay some extra NZ $ any way best of luck :)

Thanks.
Makes me feel old when I look back at the dates of the qualifications and where I studied doesn't exist anymore. Will transcripts be needed or does it depend?
At least I've now found all my certificates which, after moving last year, had gone AWOL.

If transcripts are asked for (are you referrring to ITA ?), and the Poly can't supply them, as in my case, I just sent copies of emails which showed I had tried my hardest to obtain them. Previously I did get a copy of the sylllabus I studied for NZQA, which was daft with hindsight and a waste of £50 but you live and learn!

Carey,
I am trying to collect every thing together that I can to be ready to start the ball rolling. I'm still confused as to what will be needed as from what I read, if the qualification isn't listed, transcripts would be required. I should think there are a fair few people of 'our' age that went through the system at the time colleges became, Polys to Unis. so there must be similar cases. I will endeavor to keep all the emails safe! I'm also hoping that a second degree I got 10 years ago may be of some use! Unlike here, if you study more there does seem to be some recompense but we will see.
Thanks for your imput. Hope your plans are progressing smoothly
