I have 2 forms with me to complete (P85) and send back to UK. They are forms if you are leaving UK and may be entitled to some tax back. Anyone else completed and sent back?

You can also elect to have the refund paid straight into your UK bank account which cuts out the hassle of having a sterling cheque sent to you in NZ.

We did the same and got it paid direct into our UK account.

We've just sent ours back and will wait with baited breath. But it's number and sums and I'm sticking my fingers in my ears and going la la la because I don't understand any of it.

I'm bumping this back as I sent off our forms mid Sept. for refunds & haven't heard a dickie bird. How long did it take for you fortunate ones?
Should I send a reminder letter? Oh this brings back memories of UK red tape.
Reason 2023 for leaving!!!!!!

Victoria we sent ours off at the start of September and haven't heard anything either. Very frustrating as the number to ring our tax office doesn't work and I can't chase it up. Any one know the number to ring Cardiff tax office that actually works? The one on the website doesn't. :no

I think I've got it somewhere, but it wasn't where I thought it was.
