Well, the title says it all really, hubby has been told he is probably going to get made redundant after 10 years with the same company.
As we thought about applying with him as main applicant in the future do you think if he was laid-off it would ruin our chances of getting EOI pulled?

I am not sure if our points would drop if he was not actively in work. Now thinking the plan B of going, find a job (hopefully), then apply for PR from NZ.

Mmm, things are never easy eh? Never mind, I'll carry on decorating and keep my fingers crossed we come up with a solution!

Points shouldn't change whether or not he is employed. We were selected and now have ITA in hand without my husband having a job at the time. It's the experience or the qualification that matters.

Yeah I agree. They never checked to see if my artner was actively in work. Your poor Hubby though and after 10 years. All the best.
